STAMEY, 45 Funeral Rites Conducted At Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Grover Cleveland Stamey, 4.5, died at his home seven miles south of. Franklin on the Georgia high way, Monday morning at 5:15, fol lowing a three weeks' illness. The week before Mr. Stamey had und ergone an operation at Angel hos pital for a ruptured appendix. Mr. Stamey "was a farmer and operated a grocery . store and . fill ing station. He . was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist church. Funeral services were held Tues day afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist church. The Rev. 'John A. Brendle had charge of the final rites. The active pallbearers were: R.
