Smith . in the liriertown section on De cember 21. Mrs. Lunsford was one of the oldest residents of Macon county, having been boi n March 24, 1843. ' She was married to Thomas Lunsford in 188U. To, this union was born one daughter,, who died during the flu epidemic in 1918, Since the death of her husband several years ago, Mrs. Lunsford has been living with her son-in-law, John Neal and her grand children. She was a member of the Baptist church and was highly es teemed by all who knew her. Masonic Lodge Installs New Officers junaluska Lodge, No. 145, A. F. &A. Death was caused from a spinal infection. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. .Interment was in an Akron cemetery. Mr. Palmer was the son of the late J. F. Palmer, of Franklin, and was widely known here, having lived here for a number of years. Surviving are his widow, the for mer Miss Betty Jacobs, of Frank lin, and two sons, J.
