Thomas, and on the west by the lands of Jesse S.' Sloan nd the Tennessee River, it being the same land described in a deed from Mrs. H. T. Sloan, Jesse S. Sloan and others to R. A. Jacobs, said deed bearing date of , February , 23rd, 1903, and recorded "in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Macon County, in Book TT of Deeds, page 235. The above lands will be offered for sale subject to an easement in favor of Nantahala Power & Light Company. The terms of sale are as follows CASH. All bids will be received subject to rejection or confirmation by the Court and no bid will be accepted or , reported unless its maker shall deposit with said Gerk at the close of the bidding the sum of $250.00 as a forfeit and guarantee of com pliance with his bid, the same to be credited on his bid' when ac cepted.
