Old Citizen Of County
Dies At Home
Of Son

died at the home of his son, Clevc
Urecdlove, in the Tellico section of
Macon county, Wednesday morn
11114 at 9 o'clock. Death was caused

inonia. .
Mr. Breedlove, a farmer and
timberman, was born on vvizaiu

widely known. He was the son
the late Jesse Breedlove. He was
a member of 'the Burningtown Bap
tist church.
Funeral services were held at the
Oak Grove Baptist church Thurs
day . morning at 10 o'clock. The
Rev. Columbus Welch, a Baptist
minister, was in charge of the ser
vices. Interment was in the church
ciiiKtery.
The pallbearers were: T. A.
Slagle, Tom Games, Wiley Breed
love, Turner Breedlove, Harley
Mason and Glen Shields.
Surviving are four daughters,
Mrs. Lillie Wilson, of Trout Lake,
'.Wash.; Mrs. Pallas Loefcl and
Mrs. Nora Bczina, of White Sal
mon, Wash., and Mrs.-Harley Kin
; caid, of Portland, Ore. ; six sons,
Elbert and Cleve Breedlove, of
Tellico; Wiley Breedlove, of Clay
ton, (ia. ; Canary, Ellis and Law
rence Breedlove, of White Salmon,
Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Mark
Cochran, of Briartown, and one

Boy Injured By
Fall Into Mill Pond
Dannell Stanley, small son of
Mrs. Louise Holden Stamey, of
Dillard, Ga., Route 1, fell into a
mill pond Monday while fishing. In
the fall he received a compound
fracture of the left wrist; and
would have drowned had it not
been for a 15-year-old McCall boy,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
McCall, of Franklin Route 2, who
went to his rescue. !
Dr. Neville immediately set the
broken bones and Dannell is re
ported to be getting along nicely.
