The explanation is contained in extension folder No. 39, "Why and How to Treat Cotton Seed." Extension circular No. 222, "Ter racing to Reduce Erosion," was prepared by Davis S. Weaver, head of the department agricultural en gineering, and H. M. Ellis, exten sion agricultural engineer. .
