Ford delivered into the pos session of the undersigned mechan ics a two horse wagon and author ized and instructed them to alter, repair and improve and otherwise expend their labor upon said wagon and ibed thereof; and whereas, pur suant to said directions the under signed mechanics did work on said wagon and increased the value thereof ; and whereas, the reason able value of their said labor oer formed on said wagon and bed was THIRTY-SEVEN DOLLARS; and whereas, demand has been made upon the said J. B. Ford for pay ment and said amount has been due and payable for more than thirty days ; and whereas said , debt of said J. B. Ford for work on said wagon has not been paid and said wagon is now, and has been con tinuously since March 15th, 1938, in the possession of the undersigned mechanics.
