Van Arnam's "Funmakers
Coming To Franklin Next
Saturday Night, April 29
This is the 25th anniversary tour
of the well known John R. Van
Arnam's Funmakers who will be
in Franklin next Saturday, April
29, and in celebration .of this an
niversary event, .Manager Roberts
has carefully selected a large cast
of noted stage, screen and radio
players who will present a fast mov
ing vaudeville, musical comedy and
variety entertainment.
The .show is sponsored by the
Franklin fire department.
Prices are common sense prices,
adults 25 cents, children 15 cents.
Only one complete show starting at
8 p. m. and running two and one
half hours. Tent Theatre opens at
7:15 p. m. Orchestra concert from
7:30 to 8 p. m. Auto parking free.
The tent theatre will be pitched on
the Murray lot on the Murphy
road.
The show will feature Billy Barty
and sisters. Billy, the biggest little
comedian from Hollywood, was a
former star of "Our Gang" come
dies arid Mickey McGoiire comedies,
a featured star in "Gold Diggers,"
Alice In Wonderland," "Footlight
Parade," Eddie Cantor's "Roman
Scandals," also "Nothing Sacred"
and many others.
