Mrs. Holland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Conley, of Cullasaja, while M r. Holland is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hol land, of Peek's Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Holland immedi ately went to their new home at Peek's Creek, where Mr. Holland is farming. BUCHANAN-DYKES Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Following the secretary and treasurer's report, a round ' table discussion was held on the erec tion of a sign to be placed on the Indian mound inside the incorpor ate limits on highway 64 near the Tennessee river bridge. Mrs. A. .B. Slagle was appointed to make fur ther investigations before anything was definitely decided. A benefit Chinese checker party was planned to be held on Wed nesday afternoon, July 19, at the home of Mrs. Herbert E. Church in the Orlando apartments on Har rison avenue. Mrs. Zeb W. Conley read a very interesting paper on Mobile, the second largest city and only seaport in Alabama. Mrs. Zeb W. Conley was winner of the poem contest, while the prize was presented to Miss Lily Rankin as winner of the magazine contest. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Lester S.
