DUVALL-WELCH Mrs. Hallie Duvall of Franklin announces the marriage of her eld est daughter, Nell, to Thomas Paul Welch of Franklin and Charlotte, Jeceniber 23, at Clayton, Ga. Mia (irace: Tallent and' Cecil Baldwin of Franklin attended the wedding. Mrs.. Welch has made her home in Canton for the last two years. Mr. Welch is the son of Mr. and Mrs. VV. E. Welch, of Franklin. He holds a position with K. H. Bouligny, Inc., in Charlotte. . Mr. and Mr.s. Wlch are at home in Charlotte. MRSY SLOAN'S CLASS TO GIVE SUPPER MARCH 14 Members of Mr,s. W. W. Sloan's Sunday school class of the Frank lin Methodist church will give a supper on Thursday evening, March 14, from 7 to 8:30 o'clock in the agricultural building. The supper will be served cafeteria style and the proceeds will go for the bene fit of the church. The public is in .yited to attend. U. D. C. TO MEET WITH MRS. GEORGE M.
