Thomas Tilson Passes Thursday, May 2 J. Thomas Tilson, 58, died at his home, in the Buck Creek sec tion of Macon " county Thursday afternoon about 5 o'clock. He had been ill for two months. Mr. Tilson, a well-known farm er, was born and reared in the Buck Creek community,, about 15 miles southeast of Franklin. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abe Tilson and a member of the Buck Creek Baptist church. The funeral services were held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the Buck Creek Baptist church. Officiating were the Rev. Oscar Nix, and the Rev. Frank Reid. Bur ial was in Buck Creek cemetery. Surviving are his widow; three children, Claude, of Buck Creek ; Mrs. Edith Brown, of Otto, and Mrs. Charlotte Barnes, of Buck Creek; three brothers, James, of Cornelia Ga., and Burt and. Funeral Services For Henry Lon Ammons Funeral services for Henry Lon Amnions, 66, were held on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Clark's Chapel Methodist church. The Rev. Phillip Green, pastor, officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
