Mrs. E. B. DeHart, who has been
confined to her room for several
months, suffering from severe in
juries received in an automobile
accident, is' able to be out again
with the aid of crutches.
Bruce Bryant left last week for
Akron, Ohio, Vhere he plans to
spend several days with Robert
Warren, who recently ' visited
Bruce at his home in East Frank
lin. Randolph Bulgin, who recently
received serious injuries when a
mine in which .he was working
caved in, is able to be out again.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy G. Arrendale
of Atlanta, announce the birth of
a son, Gary Lenqy, on Tuesday,
June 18. Mrs. Arrendale was the
former Mis,s Lois Snyder, of
Franklin, before moving to Cor
nelia, Ga. She is a granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie A. Cabe,
of Franklin Route 2.

Opens In Health Office
The venereal disease clinic is
open every Tuesday afternoon
f rom. 1 to 3 :30 p. m. at the offices
of the county board, of health, Dr.
E. N. Halier, physician in charge,
announced this week.
The office of the Macon county
board of health is open every
morning at 8 a. m.
An infant and pre-school clinic
was conducted in Highlands last
week. Special emphasis was placed
on diptheria innoculations for in
fants six months of age.
