Bryson at West's Mill Sunday. , The morning was Spent in the renewing of old acquaintances and reminiscing of the past year. Following the bountiful picnic dinner served under the oak trees at the rear of the church, the crowd assembled in the church foT a short program. C. Tom Brysion, president, pre sided. and the program was open ed with prayer by the Rev. D. C McCoy, of Oak Grove, a visiting minister. A quartet composed of Lex Angel, OHn Graham, Joe Angel and James M. Raby ac companied by Fred L. Swellings, of . Henderson ville at the piano, rendered a number of selections, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all. ' . T. D. Bry.&on, attorney, of Frank lin, was the principal speaker for fhe occasion. Frank Bryson, of Darringtdn, Wash., a former Ma con county boy, made a short talk.' Louise Bryson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Bryson, gave ' a reading. Ruth Bryson, daughter of Mr. and . Mrs. C. Tom Bryson, sang a solo, accompanied by Mrs. Bry,son at the piano. The election of .officers Was held and the following were' elect ed:. 1 C Tom Bryson, reelected, president; T. D. Bryson," Jr., vice president; Mrs. Lester S. Ccnley, reelected secretary; C. A. Bryson, reelected,' treasurer; and T. C. Bryson, Sr., historian, T. C. Bry son, Jr., was appointed historian to assist his father in keeping the family records. . The reunion will be held next year at the same time and place. Clinic Finds Three New Cases Only three new cases of active tuberculosis were located by the clinic recently held at the offices of. the Macon county health de partment, says Dr. Haller, county health officer. , Arrangements have been made already for two of these active cases to get treatment in a tuber cular sanatorium. then get treatment started at once.
