Miss Marv Emma Leemon daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Ken dall Leeman of 17 Howland road : became the bride of Leo Henry Manley. son of , John H. Mamley of 41 Chestnut street, in a cere ' niony yesterday afternoon at o'clock at St. Lawrence church. The Rev. John Manley . of St Joan of Arc, brother of the bride uroom, officiated. 1 Banked arrangements of palms and ferns interspersed with white chrysanthemums and snapdragons were used in decorating the church ; Musical Program A "program of nuptial music was presented by Miss May Jo De- Nardo, organist. Ihe bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore an aerial blue costume .suit with fin-gcr-.tip. coat trimmed with . a na tural blue fox collar. He'r acces sories were ii harvest wine with a "Vog.iie hat of - matching Hackle feathers. A single strand of pearls was her only ornament. The bride s corsage was of- orchids. Miss Mildred Cawood of Ashe ville was main of honor. She wore "a two-piece velveteen model of harvest wine .with blue jewelled buttons and matching hat. Her corsage was of roses and 'bou vardia. Mrs. Leemon, mother of the liride, wore a black velvet after noon dress with black matching hat (rimmed with gardenias and drap ed veiling. Her corsage was of gardenias. Led' Cant well of Lake Placid, N. Y., former athletic coach of the bridegroom at Belmont Abbey, was best man. PARRISH CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING Mr. and Mrs E. H. Parrish of West's Mill, celebrated with a good, old fashioned turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day in honor pf their son, Titus H. Parrish, of Detroit, Mich., who visited his parents last week. He came in his car, mak ing the trip in a day, Their daugh ter, Miss Bonnie ParrUh, of Bry- son City, also spent the holiday at home. The military service of another son, William D. Parrish, was re ported in the Press a few weeks ago. He has seen 20 years of serv' ce in the U. S. Army, seven years having been spent in the foreign servire. His parents: expect him home on leave at ara early date, PARKER-CARPENTER News ot interest to many friends throughout Macon county is the marriage of Miss Mamie Carpent er, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Carpenter of Sedro-Wooley, Wash., formerly of Macon county, to Paul Parker, son of Mr, and Mrs. John Parker of Sedro-Wooley, Wash. The wedding occured at the home of Jess Little, J. P. in Sedro- Wooley on October 11. Miss Louise Ki Knippel and Louis Doan, friends of the bride and groom, were the only attendants. A delicious wedding dinner. was served v Saturday evening by the groom's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Parker are at home on Puget Ave. in the Ditemore apartments in Sedro-Wooley.
