cently announced that in its 125
years of service as a scripture
distributing agency, it "has not yet
received, from all gifts of all kinds,
the equivalent of ' the cost of one
first class battleship." Yet the So
ciety's annual distribution at home
and abroad exceeds 7,000,000 Gos-,
pels, Testaments and Bibles.

Mrs. Jack Sanders,- proprietors, suffered heavy loss with other occupants of the building in the fire that occurred an November 10.
