C, and Harrogate, Teiwi., to James Oliver Beale, of Highlands, was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Williams, of Har rogate, Friday, June 19. Dr. Stew art W. McClelland, president of Lincoln Memorial university, officiated. The bride wore for her wedding a dusty rose crepe dress with light blue accessories and a corsage of sweetheart roses, blue delphinium and baby's breath. Mrs. Beale is the daughter of E. C. Alexander and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Grant Alexander. She attended Lincoln Memorial univer , sity and was a member of the staff before her marriage. Mr. Beale is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Beale, of Highlands. He is connected with the Highlands Hardware company. After a wed ding trip to Washington, D. C, the couple will make their home with the bridegroom's mother, Mrs. J. H. Beale, on the Dillard Road. as their guests, Mrs. Caziarc's niece, Mrs. James Randall and small son of Atlanta. Mrs. Thomas F. Parker of Greenville, S. BILLY NALL AVIATION CADET Taking the initial step toward winning his wings as a pilot and a second lieutenant's commission, William C. (Billy) Nail, son of Mr. and Mns. A. R. Nail, is now enrojled as an aviation cadet in the Army Air Forces Pre-Flight School at Maxwell Fields Ala. where he will undergo expert mili tary, physical and academic train ing calculated to fit him for the job of learning to fly our fighter planes. Cadet Nail was a studen.t at the University of North Carolina when accepted by the Aviation Examin ing Board as a cadet in the U. S. Army Air Forces on May 9, 1942, at Columbia, S. C. MISSIONARIES ADDRESS EPISCOPAL AUXULIARY A very interesting meeting of the Woman's Auxiliary of the Church of the Incarnatipn was held Thursday afternoon- at the home of Mrs. J. A. Hines, when two returned missionaries told of their work in foreign fields. Miss Ruth Hills, missionary to Brazil for five and a half years under the Methodist foreign mis sion board was the first speaker. Miss Hillis and her mother have been occupying the Dr. Warner P. Davis cottage on Mirror lake for the past several weeks. Her talk was followed with a talk by Mrs. H. T. Bridgman, who with htr husband, Rev. H. T..
