The wedding was solemnized at Franklin on Sep tember 4, in the presence of a few relatives and close friends. The bride was attired in a very becoming dress of royal blue acetate crepe with match ing accessories. Mrs. Collins attended Franklin high school. Mr. Collins is the son of the late John D. Collins and Mrs. Collins of Blackvllle, S. C. He Is a graduate of Black vllle high school and is at pres ent stationed with our armed forces in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Collins plans to make her home there for the present. GARDEN CLUB TO MEET MONDAY The regular meeting of the Franklin Garden Club will be held Monday afternoon, October 4, at the home of Mrs. BUI Swan, in the Carolina Apart ments. Mrs. Allan Brooks and Mrs. Lester Conley will serve as assistant hostesses. Mr. Guy L. Houk, will present a talk on "The Fall Planting of Perennials." MYERS FAMILY HAVE REUNION The family of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Myers, gathered at the home last Sunday for a reunion, the first time the family had all been together in 19 years. W. Bryan Myers, who has made his home in Boulder City Las Vegas, Nevada, is now visit ing his parents for the first time during this period. A beautiful lunch was served on the spacious lawn. RED CROSS NIGHT WORKERS TO HAVE HONOR ROLL The Friday Night Red Cross workers will have an honor roll beginning October 1. Many of these workers are unable to work In the afternoons thus do not have an opportunity to ac complish as many hours. However, a number work reg ularly as many hours as possi ble.
