bv the laws of the State of North Carolina, particu
larly by Chapter 310 of the Public Laws of 1939
as amended, and pursuant to an order of the County
Commissioners, I will offer for sale and will sell at
public auction, for cash, to the highest bidder, at
the Court House Door in Macon County, at 12:00
o'clock Noon on Monday, the 4th day of September,
1944, liens upon the real estate described below for
the non-payment of taxes owing for the year 1943,
the name of the owner of or person who listed the
real estate for taxes, the real estate which is sub
ject to the lien, and the amount of the lein l>eing set
out below. Reference is made to the records in the
office of the Register ol Deeds of Macon County
and in the office of the Tax Supervisor for more
particular description of said real estate. And notice
is hereby given that the amounts of the liens set
out l>elow are subject to the addition of penalties
as provided by law, and the costs of sale.
