Steele at Press office, or write Box 164 for full in formation. x Frady Infant Dies, Ritrt^Held Sunday At Sugarfork Church Funeral' services for Virginia j Lee Frady, the five-Weeks old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rob dy, of the Cuilasaja com munity, were held on Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the Sugarfork Baptist church, with the Rev. Bill Sorrells officiat ing. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The baby died at the home on Cartoogechaye Sunday eve ning at 10 o'clock, following an illness of 'four days. Death was attributed to pneumonia. Surviving are the parents and three sisters, Josephine, Mattie Pearl and Wanda Mae, and two brothers, James and Frank Frady. The paternal grand parents, Mr. anft Mrs. George W. Frady, Cuilasaja, and the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Allie Saunders, of Hazelwood, also survive. Bryant funeral direolors were in charge of arrangements. Joseph C. Welch, who is a patient at the Angel clinic, is reported by hospital attendants "to be getting along very nicely. Mr. and Mrs, W. Welch, In Japan, Is Promoted To Master Sergeant Mrs. Annie Laurie Welch, of Franklin, has received word from the army that her hus band, Tony (Robert E.) Welch, had been promoted from the rank of technical sergeant to master sergeant. Overseas eight months, M/Sgt. Welch Is with the 46th Eng. Construction Battalion which is attached to the Eighth army and is now stationed at Sendai, Japan. He holds the American theater and Asiatic-Pacific the ater ribbons, and the Phillipine liberation ribbon with one bat tle star, and the Good Conduct medal.
