Funeral services for Mrs. Laura
Mall Parrish, 71, were held at j
the Oak Grove Baptist church
Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock.
The Rev. G. E. Scruggs, pastor,
officiated, assisted by the Rev.
Norman E. Holden. Interment
followed in the church ceme
tery.
Mrs. Parrish, a life-long resi
dent of Macon county, died at ;
her home in the Rose Creek
community Sunday evening at
7 o'clock, following an Illness of
six months.
A daughter of the late Sam
Hall and Mary Myers Hall. Mrs.
Parrish was born on September
20, 1874. She was married to
George Parrish of the Rose
Creek section in 1912. Mr. Par
rish died several years ago. She
was a member of the Oak
Grove Baptist church.
