100 At Birthday Dinner Party For W. C. Sheffield Mrs. W. C. Sheffield and chil dren honored Mr. Sheffield with a dinner on his 73rd birthday anniversary. 8unday. March 24. at the Sheffield home in the West's Mill community. Approximately 100 members of the Sheffield family and in vited guests enjoyed the occa sion with Mr Sheffield, and the bounteoui dinner which was served picnic ityle bn the spa cious lawn. The loiig table was centered with a huge birthday cake, bearing lighted tapers. Mr. Sheffield was the recipi ent of many useful gifts and good wishes for many more happy occasions. Mrs. Joe H. Pattillo has just returned from a visit to her husband. Mr. Pattillo. chief yeo man in the navy, is stationed in Washington. D. C.
