Mrs. Jane Talley Owens, 84,
died at the home of her son,
Luther Owens, on the Walhalla,
S. C., road, near Highlands, last
Friday morning at 5:30 o'clock,
following an illness of about
three Weeks.
Funeral services were held at j
the Macedonia Baptist church !
at Satolah, Ga? Saturday morn
ing at 11 o'clock, and burial fol- ?
lowed in the Rogers cemetery.
Mrs. Owens was born in Ma
con county in June, 1861, and
shortly afterward moved to
