STATEMENT OF THE RESULT OF THE SPECIAL BOND ELECTION in the TOWN OF FRANKLIN, NORTH CAROLINA I At a special bond election held June 25, 1946, 567 voters were registered and qualified to vote. 489 votes were cast for the ordi nance authorizing not exceed ing $70,000 bonds for the Town of Franklin for extending the waterworks system of said Town, by the installation of additional water mains and hydrants, and a tax for said bonds, and 12 votes were cast against said ordinance, and said ordinance was thereby approved and is in force arid effect. 426 votes were cast for the ordinance authorizing not ex ceeding $20,000 bonds of the To\yn of Franklin for extending the sanitary sewer system of said Town, by the laying of ad ditional sewer lines, and a tax for said bonds, and 19 votes were cast against said ordinance, and said ordinance was thereby approved and is in force and effect. 428 votes were cast for the ordinance authorizing not ex ceeding $30,000 bonds for the Town of Franklin for recon structing the surface of streets in said Town, and a tax for said bonds, and 16 votes were cast against said ordinance, and said ordinance was thereby ap proved and is in force and ef- ' feet.
