Mrs. Henry
At Tesenta
Funeral services for Mrs. Ad
die Florence Justice Henry, 78,
were Ijeld at the Dryman Chap
el Methodist church in the Tes
enta community June 24. The
Rev. John Baty, of Highlands,
officiated, and interment fol
lowed in the church cemetery.
A life-long resident of Macon
county, Mrs. Heru,y died at her ;
home on Tesenta June 23 at
10:30 a. m. She was lound 1
dead, apparently having died of
a heart attack.
In 1917 she was married to
Love Henry, who survives. She
was a member of the Dryman
Chapel Methodist church. I
The pallbearers were George
Henry, Hoyt Vinson, Ted Henry, ;
Mell Cabe, Roy Henr^ and Jim
Justice.
Surviving, besides her hus- !
band, are one brother, Mack

Ralph Vinson left recently
for Atlanta, Ga., to enter the
veteran's hospital.
Morgan McJunkin returned to
his home in Fort Lauderdale,
Fla., recently, Sfter spending
three weeks here with his par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Mc
Junkin.
Mrs. Katherine Brown, of Fort
Lauderdale, Fla.. is here for a
visit with her father. Mr. and
Mrs. J. N. McJunkin.
REVIVAL IN PROGRESS
A series of revival services be
gan at the Gold Mine Holiness
church on Wednesday of last
week and will continue through
Sunday, July 7, according to an
announcement made by the pas
tor, the Rev. A. T. Abbott. All
day services will be held next
Thursday, July 4.

entertained a number of friends
last week with an old time barn
dance in their spacious barn,
which is illuminated from a
power plant which Mr. Hedden
has constructed. Refreshments
consisting of ice cream and
candy were served.

has returned to his duties on
the airplane carrier, U. S. S.
Tarawa, after a visit with his
family and friends in this com
munity. Before visiting his home
here, he attended a welding
school at Norfolk, Va.

here visiting her aunt, Mrs.
