Finds Tomatoes Growing On His Potato Plant When is a potato a tomato? That's what Clyde Clark, plant foreman at the Franklin Mineral Products company want ed to know when he found to matoes growing on a potato plant in the garden at his home on the Georgia road. The potato plant, brought in to The Press office by Mr. Clark, was a potato plant in every respect but one. On a single shoot thai came from near the root were 11 small to matoes; when they broken open, the tomato seeds could be seen inside. Mr. Clark had some tomato plants some distance away, he said, which evidently had been crossed with the potato.
