Her corsage was ol garden ias Mr. and Mrs. Efton Dudley, cousins of the bridegroom, were the only attendants Mrs, Dud ley wore a yellow dress with blaek accessories, and her cor sage was of red roses. Mrs. Kendrick is a gradnnte of the Lackey High school at Indian Head, class of 1945. and since that time has been em ployed as business manager of iier father's store in Indian Head. j Mr. kendrick is the son of Mrs. Alice Lee, of Astoria. Ore., and the late Stephen N Ken drik, of Washington, D. C., and Maryland He: served 38 months in the U S. army, 14 months of which was spent in the Euro- i pean theater, with the famed | 90th division. He attended | schools in Washington. D. C., and Maryland, and is a gradu ate of Nanjemoy High school, class of 1942. Immediately following the wedding ceremony Mr. and Mrs Kendrick left on a wedding trip North, and upon their return will make their home at Poto mac Heights, Md., where Mr. Kendrick is employed as an automobile mechinic. Mincey, who has been talcing his basic train ing in the army signal corps it Fort Dix, N. J., has been visit ing his parents, Mr. and Mrs Fred Mincey, at their home in the Ellijay community. Pvt. Mincey has been transferred to Camp Kilmer, N. J., for advanc ed training. He is now taking radio training. Mrs. G. G. Watkins spent the latter part of the week in Bre vard with her niece. Miss Betty Sue Tilson, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Will Tilson. of the CiiUa saja community, who underwent an operation for the removal of her appendix at the Transyl vania hospital last week. She expect ed to be met there by her son, Hugh, who only recently was discharged from the army.
