The ceremony was solemnized
in front of an altar of greenry, i
interspersed with white carna- ;
tions and lighted candles The !
wedding music was rendered by j
Mrs. Morris, wife of the officiat- '
ing minister.
The bride was attired in a
suit of light blue, with black ac
cessories. Her shoulder corsage
was of white carnations.

Candler's Beauty shop in Mur

Mr Hall is the son of Mrs. M.
E. Showers and of the late Mr. j
Hall, of Detroit He is a gradu
ate of the Detroit High school
and of the University of Flor
ida, Miami. He recently receiv
ed his discharge from the arm
ed forces, after three years' ser
vice, and now is a member of
the -symphony orchestra in De
troit.

WITH 17 CHARTER MEMBERS '
The Franklin Junior Music
club was organized last Satur
day afternoon, with 17 charter
members.

president; Freda SUer, vice
president; Julia Hunnlcutt, sec
retary; Edith Plemmons, treas
urer; Margaret Setser, program
chairman; and Mrs. Weimar
Jones, sponsor.
At the organization meeting,
held at the home of Mrs Jones,
the group voted to hold meet
ings the second and fourth
Saturdays at 3.30 p m.; to limit
the membership to 25; and to
devote the dues to purchase of
records and of Christmas and
Easter carols.
The next meeting will be held
with Mary Alice Archer.
