HAVK lieen asked by a great
many voters whom 1 would use as my deputy
if elected Sheriff of Macon County by the
people at the election on November 5th, and 1
want to make this statement through the col
umns of the paper so that all the voters will
know my intentions in regard to this matter.
If 1 am elected sheriff I will do all in my
power to secure as a deputy1 sheriff a Macon
County boy who served our county during the
last war.
1 not only believe that a (i. I. is entitled to
this job. but also believe that an ex-service man
will make the b?st officer that can be selected
as deputy sheriff.
