wheels," according to Mrs. Helen
Kittrell, librarian.
For the present fiscal year,
817 stops have been made at
homes, stores, post offices and
schools. A distance of 6,980
miles has been traveled in the
bookmobile and 56,180 books
have been circulated.
"In addition to the lignt
novels, mysteries and westerns
whics are always popular", she
said, "We have requests for bi
ography, historical novels, book,'
about religion, home decoration
and sewing, home carpentry,
house plans, landscaping, gard
ening, chicken raising. Interest
in world affairs is not lacking.
Nearly every month we get a
list of best sellers that are
j wanted ? not only novels, but
the non-fiction titles as well
