KOBICHAUD Miss Emma Carlyne Jamison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jamison, of Franklin, became the bride of Arthur Armand Kobichaud, son of Mr and Mrs. A E Robichaud, of Olen Ridge, N J., in a ceremony solemnized at St. Lawrence Catholic church, Asheville. June 19 The Rev. Walter F. Higgins, pastor of St. Margaret Mary Catholic church at Swannanoa, officiated. White Gladiolas, ferns, and candles were effectively used In decorating the church. Mrs. Edgar Ford, organist, and Miss Marjorie Short, soloist, presented a program of nuptial music, including "Intermezzo" by Provost, "To A Wild Rose" by MacDowell, "The Rosary" by Nevin, "I Love You Truly", by Bond, and "The Sweetest Story Ever Told", by Stultz. The tra ditional wedding marches were used, and Schubert's "Ave Maria" was played during the ceremony. The bride, who was given in I marriage by her father, wore a white street-length dress of ny- 1 Ion dotted Swiss made with fit- ' ted bodice. She wore a crown less halo hat of white net and carried a mother-of-pearl pray er book topped with a white purple-throated orchid Miss Hazel Morgan of Frank lin was maid of honor. She wore an afternoon dress of carol | crepe with white accessories and a corsage of white roses. Frank W. Hunnicutt of Ashe ville was best man, and Ken neth E. Bryson, cousin of the bride, was an usher. Ttte bride's mother wore an aqua dress with black and white accessories and a corsage of pink roses.
