Jones, who has been spending several weeks at Lake Junaluska. has returned to Franklin to spend the remainder of the summer vacation with re latives here. She will leave shortly to resume her work as a teacher in Raleigh. Miss LeVerne Yarbrough, left Sunday to return to her work in Washington, D. C., after a fortnight's vacation spent here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E Yarbrough. Joseph Ashear is away visit ing his brother, Mitchell Ashear, in Du Bois. Penna., and his sis ters in Pittsburgh. Mr. Ashear was accompanied on the trip by James Ashear, who has been vis iting Mr. and Mrs. Ashear here since his discharge from the armed forces. MYF Sub-District Meeting To Be Held Monday At Snow Hill The sub-district meeting of the Methodist Youth Fellowship will b? held ^t the Snow Hill I Methodist church Monday night at 8 o'clock. A delegate is to be ^elected to attend the National Youth Con ference at Cleveland. Ohio, De cember 30 to January 2, with expenses i?iid by tthe sub-dis trict.
