Unavoidably Omitted Last Week A. F. Brown Dins Of Hfirt Attack At Scaly Home Alfred F. Brown, 42, died sud denly at his heme in the Scaly community September 13 at 2 p. m. of a heart attack. Mr Brown, a native of Ma con County, was well known in his community as postmaster, merchant and a farmer. He also owned several business interests in the nearby town of High lands. Funeral services were held at the home September 15 at 2 p m., with burial following in th" Scaly Methodist church ceme tery. Pallbearers were Billy Brown, Kenneth James, Bob James, Harry C. Brown, Edgar James and Lee Brown. Surviving Mr. Brown are 1 his widow, Mrs. Grace Billingsley Brown; four brothers, Ernest Brojvn, of Rabun Gap, Ga., Har ry and W. B Brown, of Diltard, Ga., and Henry Brown, of Leav enworth, Kans ; and one sister, ?Mrs. J. W. Colston of Nashville, Tenn. Norton Passes; Funeral Held Wednesday Frank N Norton, 52, lifelong | resident of the Otto community, died at Angel hospital Tuesday morning of last week, following a serious illness of .four months. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Asbury Methodist church, with the Rev. V. N. Al len, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the church ceme' tery. Nephews served as pall bearers. Mr. Norton is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Charles Stewart, Tuckaseigee, Mrs. Robert Stew art, of Otto, Mrs. Fannie Foster, [ of Demorest,_Ga., Mrs. A. C. Cole, of Anderson, S. C., and Miss Mamie Norton, of Atlanta, Ga. Funeral arrangements were directed by Bryant funeral home. ? MARK 50TH ANNIVERSARY? Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Cabe are shown abave as they held open house at their Otto home, beautifully decorated for the occasion, August 31, in celebra tion of their golden wedding anniversary. They were the recipients of many gifts from the more than 100 guests who called during the afternoon. Mr. Cabe, a native of Macon County, and Mrs. Cabe, the former Miss Lula Campbell, of Greenville, S. C., have spent their entire half-century of mar ried life in this county. They have six children, Mrs. Charles M. Rogers and Mrs. Ted Blaine, both of Franklin, Mrs. R. Vance Rogers, of Arlington. Wash., and Claude Cabe, Mrs. Ralph Norton, and Neville Cabe, all of Otta. The whole car is given a much lower and more massive appearance by the addition of a wide, moulded, chrome rocker panel moulding below the doors. 2. A touch of sparkle is added by the chrome drip moulding, starting at the cowl and flowing over the windows back to the belt moulding at the rear 3. The interior of the trunk is finished on the floor, with a rubber-backed carpet, and the sides are trimmed with panels of heavy fiberboard. A trunk light in the lid turns on auto matically when the trunk lid is opened, provided the headlight switch is in the "on" position. COLORS 1. There are six different col or interior upholstery and trim combinations and seven exterior paint schemes. Five of the latter are two tone and the remaining two are solid colors.
