GROVER JAMISON Jeweler NEWS about PEOPLE WISCONSIN GIRL BECOMES BRIDE OF CARLYLE SHEPARD Mr. and Mrs. Fred Apps, of Coloma, Wise., have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Millie Apps, to Carlyle Shepard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dock Shepard, of Sylva, for merly of Macon County. The wedding was solemnized in a simple church ceremony performed at- noon September 13 in Coloma, with the Rev. Kilingensmith officiating. Bernard Apps, brother of the bride, served as best man, and Mrs. Bernard Apps was matron of honor. A dinner and reception were held at the home of the bride's parents, following the ceremony. The gropm was reared in this county, and is a graduate of the Franklin High school, class of 1939. He served three and a half years in the armed forces, a considerable part of this pe riod having been spent in the China-Burma-India theatre. He has made his home in Wiscon sin for about a year and a halt. OES FAST MATRONS CLUB HEADED BY MRS.
