Education Group Weimar Jones attended the conferences in Raleigh Monday called by the State Education commission. Mr. Jones recently was appointed as a member of one of the commission's sub committees. The commission, appointed by Governor R. Gregg Cherry, was authorized by the 1947 general assembly, and is instructed n make a comprehensive study of education in North Carolina, and present recommendations to the next general assembly.
