BALDWIN MARKET Many Groups Are Meeting At Memorial With the caretakers, Mr. and Mrs. Van Frazier, installed in the caretaker's house, the Slagle Memorial building, is now oper ating lull swing as a commun ity building. In order to assist organiza tions in planning meetings and entertainment, Mr. and Mrs. Frazier this week made available a list of regularly scheduled ? meetings to be held there. i While only three organizations have scheduled regular meetings there, the building is in use ; nearly every night in the week, 1 they said. On Wednesday night of each 1 week, the Franklin Hotary club holds its dinner meeting in the main room, and the local Boy Scout troop meets downstairs. : The Lions club holds a din- I ner meeting the second and fourth Monuays of each month, and the local post of the Amer- 1 lean Legion meets there the first : and third Thursdays. Any organization desiring to ' use the building should have a representative contact Mrs. Fra- ' zier for available dates, it was ; explained. If no meal is plan ned, there is a maintenance charge of five cents per person (minimum $2). The caretakers are responsible for furnishing fuel and paying for the electricity. If a meal is planned, arrange ments should be made with Mrs. Frazier. The cost is determined by the menu planned.
