p Peddling Now Forbidden On Streets Here I Pedd'ing on the streets of: Franklin, except for Macon County farmers selling their own produce, is prohibited by an ordinance adopted last week by the board of aldermen, and vhich is now In effect. Whilo excepting Macon Coun ty farmers from its general pro I vuiona, it MU on* hour u the downtown parking limit for farmers' trucks selling produce The text of the ordinance fol lows: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to peddle, sell or offer to sell, from trucks, wagons, or any other vehicles, or in any manner or place, except in a regular estab lished place of business, any fruit, vegetables, products, live stock, meats, or merchandise on any of the streets in the Town of Franklin.
