Mrs. T. J. Christy, 84. the
former Miss Cora Bryson, of
Franklin, died at her home in
Andrews last Friday. Long a
semi-invalid, she had been ser
iously ill for twp weeks.
A daughter of James Holmes
Bryson and Mrs Cornelia Siler
Bryson. she was a sister of the
late A S. Bryson, of Franklin.
Survivors include a sister,
Mrs. Matt Knight, of Asheville:

The funeral service was held
Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the Andrews Methodist church,
with the pastor, the Hev. C.
Washam, assisted by the An
drews Presbyterian and Baptist
ministers, officiating. Burial was
in the Andrews cemetery.
Call To Highlands
Baptist Pastorate
Is Accepted By Nix
The Rev. Paul G. Nix, of
Greenville, S. C., who has
been supply pastor of the
Highlands Baptist church
for the past several weeks,
has accepted the call to
full-time pastorate.
After Friday of this week,
he and Mrs. Nix will be at
home at the parsonage.

Demonstration Curb market has
had "Spring Cleaning" in prep
aration for Easter and for
spring. Last Saturday after sales
hours, a good cleaning-up was
given the entire place.
Saturday of this week, the
day before Easter, the market
will feature cakes, brown bread,
chickens, eggs, flowers, and
canned goods, including jellies,
etc.
