Salerno, of River Forest, 111., was honored at a tea and miscellaneous shower given by Mrs. H. E. Church at her home on Harrison avenue last Saturday allernoon from 4 to 5 o'clock. Bowls of summer flowers in pastel shades were used through' out the house, and the bride's table was covered with an im ported linen cloth and centered with a silver punch bowl. Mrs. J. Ward Long presidGd at the punch bowl, and Mrs. C. E. Willis, of Birmingham, Ala , and Miss Anne Ray, sisters of the bride-elect, assisted in serv lng.
