C Final Haiti For Junta Suxltr., SO, At Watauga Funeral service* tor Jamas T Sanders, who died early Mon day, were held at the WaUaga Baptist church Tuaeday attar noon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Sanders, 80-jraar old na tive of Macon Coanty, died at the home of a son. J. T. San ders, Jr., In the Watauga com munity. He had been 111 about two months. He was a membe; of the Ridgecrest Baptist church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Brendle, of Frank lln. Route 4, and Mrs. Robert Smith, of Canton; six sens, Walter of Bassett, Va., Bob and Sam, pf Canton, and Claude, Frank, and J. T., Jr., all of Franklin Route b; two sLsters, Mrs. A. C. Sanders, ol Route 4 and Mrs. James shep herd, of West's Mill; one bro ther, C. C. Sanders, of Route 4; 35 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Lee Crawford, assisted by the Rev. C. C. Welch and the Rev. C. H. Green. Grandsons served as pall bearers; Lewis Smith, J. R. Brendle, and Winford, Bob, R. L. and Everett Sanders. Arrangements were under the direction of Potts funeral home. BIRTHS Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Southard have announced the birth of a son, Johnnie Jackson, Decem ber 2, at Clayton Maternity home.
