Wright, were married at 0 o'clock the evening of December 24 tn the Methodist parsonage In Clayton, Ga., the Rev. Mr. Wheelis performing the cere mony. The bride wore a two-piece cult of soft grey wool with gfcgn accessories and corsage of sweet peas. She Is a graduHe of High lands High school and was graduated from Lees-McRae junior college, Banner Elk, last spring. She holds a teaching position tn the Gold Mine school of Maoon County. Mr. Wright Is a graduate of Highlands High school and was | a studant at N. C. State college 1 when he enlisted In the U. S. j Air Force In World War II, ' where he became a second lleo tenant. He was formerly tn the lumber business in Highlands, the company recently dissolving partnership. On Christmas night the bride's parents entertained with ? buffet supper, when approx imately thirty-five members tf the two families were present.
