years the emphasis In turkey

ment Station farm near Ral
eigh, where for the past eight
years tests have been conducted
to Improve the utility of the
Bronze turkey, one turkey hen
laid 219 eggs In 1945 and two
hens have passed the 200-egg
mark .this year by producing
203 and 211 eggs during a 12
month period. According to Mr.
Dearstyne, the tests show that
high egg production can be de
veloped In turkeys through care
ful breeding factors.
