Keener, 74-year-old retired farm [er of the Walnut Creek commu nity, were held at the Walnut Creek Baptist church March 21 at 2 p. m., with the Rev. Frank Holland, pastor, officiating. Bur ial was in the church cemetery. Death on March 18 followed a long illness. A native of this county, Mr. Keener formerly was employed in construction work by the TVA and the Georgia Power and Light company. He was a member of the Walnut Creek Baptist church. Survivors .include his widow, Mrs. Fannie Jane Jones Keener; two sons, Wendell Keener, of Gneiss, and Howard, of Balti more, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Saphronia Wood, of Cullasaja, Mrs. Ella Jones, of Ellijay, and Mrs. Callie Page, of Waynesville; one brother, W.
