NEWS about people: ENTERTAIN AT BRIDGE LUNCHEON AND SUPPER Mrs. H. A. Myers and Mrs. William V. Swan were hostesses to a bridge luncheon and a bridge supper last Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Swan. They had 24 guests for lunch Ma. Mr*. Prank L. Henry, Jr. ?h winner of the high score prise; Mrs. Harmon H. Gnuae, the low prize; and Mrs. B. L. McGlamery, the Bingo prise. There were 20 guesta for sup per. Mra. J. K. Perry, Jr., won high score; Mrs. B. W. Russell, low score, and Mrs. Betty Alex ander, the cut prize. MISS RAT IS HONORED WITH DESSERT BRIDGE Miss Anne Ray, September bride-elect, was honored with dessert bridge by Mrs. J. E. Per ry, Jr., and Miss Mildred Cabe, at the home of Mrs. Perry, on Bidwell street, Saturday after noon. Four tablet Of bridge frtw in play. A color scheme ol green and white was observed In the deco rations and refreshments. Prises were awarded to Mrs. J. Ward Long, high score; Mrs. Claude Bolton, second high; Mrs. Mac Rae Whltaker, low and Mrs. Ernest Fisher, Bingo. Miss Ray was presented a gift of silver. The guests were; Miss Fannie Mae Sherrlll, Miss Carolyn Long, Mrs. John Cogan, Miss Barbara Stockton, Mrs. Bob Sloan, Mrs. W. V. Swan, Mrs. J. Ward Lang, Mrs. B. L. McGlam ery, Mrs. H. A.
