C., became the bride of Perry Cleveland Henwn, son of Mr. and Mr*. Thurman Leslie Hen son, of near Franklin, in a cer emony at 4 p. m. Sunday, Sep tember 11, at the First Baptist church at Lancaster. The Rev. James F. Burris, the bride's pastor, officiated. Palms, ferns, yellow gladioli, and white lighted tapers in can delabra decorated the altar. Miss Elizabeth Hunter of Lan cas.er, organist, and Paul E. Puckett of Lancaster, vocalist, presented the wedding music. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a wrest green satin dress with black satin accessories. She car ried a white sa:ln prayer book topped with a white orchid and jhowered with white tuberoses. Miss Carolyn Small, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The best man for the bride groom was Shirley Stewart Pierce, of Coleraine, N. C. Serv ing as ushers were James Hen- 1 son, brother of the groom, of Miami, Fla., Calvin Henson, cousin Of the groom. Mr. Henson attended the Franklin schools and served for three year* with the United States navy. He received an A. B. degree from the University of North Carolina and is now in his second year of law school there. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, national hon orary fraternity, and Phi Alpha Delta, legal fraternity.
