Mrs. I. T. Peek, M's. Prelo Dryman, Mrs H. O. Champion, Mrs. Frank Reece, Mrs. James A. Cook, and Mrs. Rumby Ray, were hostesses. The Christmas motif was rs*d in brth the decorations and the refreshments. Mrs. T. W. Angel, Jr., .spoke f.n Christmas decorations. M"s. Fr?nk Killian and Mrs. John Crawford, of the beautifi cation and finance committees, respectively, made reports. Gifts were exchanged, and M s. Rov Bidclle's package was .indeed the most attractively wrapped, Mrs. Frank Killian's second, and Miss Laura M. Jones, third. The club voted to sponsor outdoor Christmas lighting this veir and urged the general i public to u:e outs'de decora tions as well as inside. New members voted into the cub arp Mrs. William Noth stein, Mrs. Paul Russell, Mrs. Ernest W. Fisher, and Mrs. Grover Schafer. The January meeting will be held on the second Mondav in January with Mrs. R. M. Rim ner, Mrs. Frank M. Higdon, Mrs. Henderson Callaway. Mrs. J. L. West, Jr , and Mrs. Ha ve Bryant as hostesses. MRS. BUSINESS WOMEN'S CIRCLE HOLDS CHRISTMAS MEETING The Business Women's circle of the Franklin Presbyterian church held its annual Christ mas meeting with Mrs. B. L. McGlamery Monday evening. The program, on the theme of world-wide contributions to the Christian hymnal, with spe cial emphisis on Ch-istmas music, featured a Christmas "Hymn Festival". M-S. R. R Gaines was in charge of the program, and Mrs. J. A. Flana gan led the discussion. The devctnnal was conduct ed by Mrs. Hoyt Evans, and Mrs. McGlamery, president, pie sided. A Christmas tree and ex change of gifts marked the so cial hour that followed the pro gram. Personal Mention Mr. and M s. E. H.
