IN MEMORIAM
Dear Daddy's gone. He went
away.
j It was upon December day.
; There's no one now can take
his place
To s.ng around the old hom<
place.
I've traveled here and travelec
theie
And sung the songs we loved
to hear,
But (,n this eatth we'll sing nc
more
Until we reach the other shore.
I
Sometimes our hearts grow sad l
and lone,
But our dear Saviour called him
home.
No Daddy now to guide us here
j But our dear Lord can only
] cheer.
! Sometime up there in Glory
Land
We'll meet our Daddy once
again,
1 And sing with him redemption
song
Around the Saviour's shining
throng.
My heart b' eaks down in mem
ory here ?
rt seems I hear our Daddy say
"I'm walking now the streets o.
gold
But yet the half is ever told."
Oh brother, too and sister dear.
Let's all prepare and meet him
there,
Whe e we will never part no
more,
And meet our Daddy on that
shore.
This is written in dedication
t-o all my brothers and sisters
in regard to our loving Daddy,
who passed from this life De
cember 12th, 1949.
