NEWS about PEOPLE MISS UNA CRAWFORD WEDS SGT. ED SETSER Miss Una Crawford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Craw ford, became the bride of M. Sgt. Ed Setser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilmer Setser, on Satur day afternoon at St. John's chapel, on Cartoogechaye, where both families live. The Rev. C. B. Yeargan, re tired Presbyterian minister, per formed the ceremony before a background of native greenry, interspersed with baskets of white gladioli and candelabra holding lighted cathedral ta pers. A program of wedding music was presented by Mrs. Fred Slasle, pianist. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was at tired in a white suit with which she used navy accessories. She carried a white Bible topped with satin streamers. Miss Luanne Gibson, college roomate of the bride, was her only attendant. She wore a pink suit with navy accessories. Her corsage was of blue carnations. Bruce Crawford served as best man and William Crawford and Rutherford Snyder were ushers. Mrs. Setser was graduated from Franklin High school, where she was valedictorian of her class, and attended West em Carolina Teachers colle.e Cullowhee. Sgt. Setser entered the armed forces in 1945. He has served in Germany and Japan, and just recently returned from a .year's duty in Korea. Following the ceremony, Sgt. and Mrs. Setser left by motor for a honeymoon in Key West, Fla. The bride wore a navy blue suit and the flowers detached from her bridal bouquet. Sgt. and Mrs. Setser will re side for the present In Cplum bia, S. C. If Anyone . . .
