Born November 24, 1863, Mrs. Raby was the daughter of Jo shua and Sophronia Wilds Byrd. She was a member of the Oak Grove church. She was married March 4, 1886, to Charles A. Raby, who died in 1919. Surviving are three sons, Jess J. Raby, of Indian Head, Md., Arvin Raby, of Waldorf, Md., and Don Raby, of Franklin, Route 3; five daughters, Mrs. Parrish, Miss Mae Belle Raby, of Franklin, Route 3, Mrs. Floyd Martin and Mrs. Ed L. Whit tlngton, of Franklin, and Mrs. Charles A. Weaver, of Kingston, Tenn.; and 33 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Hargrove and Rudolph Pairish, Richard Raby, Harold Martin, Ralph Bradley, and George Byrd.
