Rural Community De velopment contest this week with the announcement that uniform mail box posts have been erected and grading com - pleted at the old school house, the community's future recrea tion center. Crisp Serving Aboard Rocket Ship In Korean W aters, N avy Announces Seaman Jesse E. Crisp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Crisp, of Cuiiasaja, is serving aboard the USS landing ship rocket No. 401, now on her second tour of duty in the Far East, the navy has announced. The 401 received her "bap tism of fire" during the am phibious assault at Inchon and Wolmi-do in September, 1950. Entering the combat zone for the second time in November, 1951, she literally "rained" rock ets on the Wonsan area in the "Ulcer Gulch", the release said. The 401 has fired some 15.000 rockets and 1,000 shells in the past six months of her Korean duty. In 1950, approximately 65,000 farm tractors were operated on North Carolina farms.
