Services Of Macon County ^Churches r pP" THE CHURCH O OD Man and God see things differently. That's why man needs the Church ? it help's him see things God's way. But, strangely, even the Church itself looks different to man and God. To man the Church appears to be an organization. It has leaders, officials, boards, members. It has ? - * L a charter, owns property, sometimes has a mortgage. Ana even cnougn its aims are the highest in life, still its members are imperfect human creatures like ourselves. To God the Church is an organism, a living thing. It is the Spirit of Christ touching men's hearts, forgiving their sins, awakening their faith. It is the Word of Truth commanding the attention and changing the lives of men, women and children. It. is. Divine Power transforming human sorrow to joy. Man can learn how to see the Church as God sees it.. But never by looking down upon the Church. Only by going inside the Church to worship God, and looking. THE CHURCH FOR ALL... ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the graotest factor on earth for the building of character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values. Without a? strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can survive. There am four sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and support the Church. They cm: (1) For his own sake. (2) For his children's sake. (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and material support Plan to go to church regu larly and read your Bible daily.
