ADAMS Macon Native Succumbs At Ellijay; Services Held Friday Mrs. Lydia Fox Adams, wife of .Man Adams, of Ellijay, died last Thursday at 2:45 p. m. at her home. Seventy-tw> years old she had been in declining health for the past 18 months. Funeral services for Mrs. Ad ams, who was a native of this county, were conducted Friday at 2:30 p. in a: the Mt. Grove B.iotist Church of which she wa-. a member The Rev. Frank Reed officiated Burial v/as in the church cemetery. Born November 23 1380, Mrs. Adams was the daughter of William and Mrs. Jane Stew man Fox. She and Mr. Adams were married in June, 1905 In addition to her husband, she is survived by toyar sons. As county chairman, Mr. Bur rell will also head the fall membership campaign in this area for NCADA and NADA and will participate in Area Chair men Day which will be held in Raleigh in October Charlie Elliott Dies In Brevard At Age Of 78 Charlie Elliott, 78, a native 1 of this county, died last Thurs day at 7:30 a m. in Brevard, where he had been living for some time. Mr. Elliott had been ill for about four years. Funeral services were con ducted Friday at 4:30 p. m. at the Holly Springs Baptist Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. Theodore Rose and the Rev. Arvll Swaf ford officiated. Burial was In the church cemetery. Born January 1, 1875, Mr. El liott was the son of Eugene and Mrs Rebecca Calloway El liott. He was a farmer and In 1897 was married to the former Miss Hattie Wooten, who died several years ago. Mr. Elliott is survived by two 3004, Weaver and BUI, of Bre vard; two daughters, Mrs. Dan Moore, of Oastonla, and Mrs Clarence Morris, of Brevard; three brothers, Sam and Tom Elliott, of Sedro Woolley, Wash., and John, of Peacht'ree; and six grandchildren. Nephews served as pallbear ers. Arrangements were under the direction of Bryant Funeral Home.
